After crossing the tunnel, many travelers feel like they have entered a completely different landscape, leaving the green valleys of Manali behind and reaching the cold desert terrain of Lahaul. From here the road leads toward stunning places like Keylong, Sissu, and further towards the high mountain pass Baralacha La Pass on the route that eventually goes toward Leh.
